This is one of the greatest books that I have read filled with true unbelievable emotions by a mother watching her daughter go through this journey.
This is a good testimony on the Lord's great mercies upon someone with Cancer.
I myself am a witness of seeing a loved one greatly suffer with this disease, as I had to see my mother live with it and die from it, when I was 16 years old, as the author of this book had to take care of her daughter after her surgery and had to experience the pain of seeing her daughter greatly suffer.
I learned a lot concerning the Cancer of the Appendix that her daughter had that I did not know about before. This book is very well written and it will teach you so much about this disease and about what a patient has to experience after having such a risky surgery.
As a Christian, I am very glad that the author sought the Lord greatly, during this time of great suffering in her life and I want to encourage her and advise her and her family to live a godly and holy life before the Lord, daily. So they don't reap the penalty of sin which is death, for serving sin or their flesh, as we are told by the Lord through the Apostle Paul in Roman's 6 23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." For this also includes spiritual death here on earth for serving sin.
For tattooing our bodies and watching un- godly tv shows or movies are not of God and will result in death or in going through stuff that we do not need to be going through here on earth and end up in hell, for being in rebellion or disobedience against the Lord.
For our God sees everything and commands us to be holy as He is and to come out from all of those that do not honor Him or obey Him, and out of all that is of the world, as we are commanded in 2 Corinthians 617.
Other than this I greatly enjoyed reading this book, though it is very sad!
What a tear jerker! Absolutely heartbreaking what this young lady went through.
