This book was originally published prior to 1923, and represents a reproduction of an important historical work, maintaining the same format as the original work. While some publishers have opted to apply OCR (optical character recognition) technology to the process, we believe this leads to sub-optimal results (frequent typographical errors, strange characters and confusing formatting) and does not adequately preserve the historical character of the original artifact. We believe this work is culturally important in its original archival form. While we strive to adequately clean and digitally enhance the original work, there are occasionally instances where imperfections such as blurred or missing pages, poor pictures or errant marks may have been introduced due to either the quality of the original work or the scanning process itself. Despite these occasional imperfections, we have brought it back into print as part of our ongoing global book preservation commitment, providing customers with access to the best possible historical reprints. We appreciate your understanding of these occasional imperfections, and sincerely hope you enjoy seeing the book in a format as close as possible to that intended by the original publisher.

The tale of Brownie Beaver Arthur Scott Bailey Diane Petersen Books Reviews

Fun book to read
Pre-school kids would enjoy these, but they'll put parents to sleep. I'd recommend skipping this series and looking into Thornton W. Burgess' stories Same genre--animal bedtime stories. Same price--free. Same interest level--pre-school. But far more likely to keep the adult reader awake and engaged--on top of the weaving in of facts about the animals, there's interesting interpersonal stuff that happens between the characters--generosity, selfishness, curiosity, pride, humor/teasing, fear, love, heroism. And plenty of 'moral' too. "Paddy the Beaver" is one of the most fascinating.
The tale of Brownie Beaver is a cute, funny, picture eBook that is sure to delight your little ones.

The images are beautiful.

The story is simple enough, that after a few reads, your child should be able to tell you the story. My children are in college, but as toddlers they would have loved this book.

The tale of Brownie Beaver is available on . I reviewed this on my pc, and the images were crisp and clear. If you do not own a kindle, you can download the kindle app to your phone, personal computer, tablet and iPod. Treat your little one's to a fantastic picture book and help out a good cause.
