I'm not one for post-apocalypse or conspiracy stories, but the title and the cover looked intriguing so I decided to give the story a try.It was definitely worth the small eBook price. The plot was fast-paced and fun, suspenseful enough to keep me turning pages and filled with what seemed like true-to-life details, if something like this would actually happen (which I dearly hope not). The characters were likable and interestingly varied and just flawed enough to come across as genuine human beings. I do wish that the author had chosen to describe the characters in more detail earlier in the book (I really like that the cast is multi-racial, but it would have been nice to know they were as soon as I met them, as opposed to nearly half-way through the story).
What didn't work quite as well for me was how I knew who would survive and who wouldn't from the first few chapters of the book, and there's a subplot about a government-hired killer that doesn't actually end up having much significance. But these are pretty minor quibbles with a unique and engaging story.

Robbie has a mastery of powerful language in the short format, enabling him to convey compelling ideas throughout his written work. Highly recommended.
What a great conspiracy concept, just make sure you read it with an open mind towards the comedy it is. Don't be political when you read this, read it to have fun !!!
What is happening in Crawford, TX? Six people's lives are thrown together in a turmoil that leads them to the brink of war and conspiracy. Robert Taylor does a good job of leading the reader where he wants to take them, and leaves the reader wanting more.
